Viaterra Ace Tank Bag
The Ace is Viaterra's larger tank bag - the one for riders who treat the tank as real storage rather than just somewhere to keep documents. It carries a camera, a layer, a power bank and the usual essentials without needing a second bag for a day ride.
Two mounting systems. Magnetic drops on and lifts off in one movement but needs a steel fuel tank. Universal straps fit any tank, including the plastic tanks and shrouds on most modern adventure and naked motorcycles.
Size is the trade-off worth understanding. A bigger tank bag holds more but sits taller, and on a smaller motorcycle it can crowd your arms in traffic or obstruct the instruments. On a mid-size or larger machine that stops being an issue and the extra capacity is simply useful.
One honest note: on a 150-200cc commuter the Ace is probably more bag than the bike wants. Look at the Oxus or Fly.

FAQs
Q: Magnetic or universal?
Magnetic is the fastest mount but requires a steel fuel tank. If your motorcycle has a plastic tank or plastic shrouds - most modern adventure and many naked bikes - you need the universal strap version. Tell us your model if you are unsure.
Q: Will it block my instruments?
On a smaller motorcycle a large tank bag can sit in the sightline. On mid-size and larger machines it generally does not. If your bike is under 300cc, consider the Oxus or Fly.
Q: Will magnets damage my paint?
Not if both surfaces are clean. Grit trapped underneath is what marks paint - wipe the tank and the bag base before fitting, particularly after a dusty ride.
Q: Ace, Fly or Oxus?
Oxus is compact for documents and phone. Fly is mid-size for essentials plus a layer. Ace is the largest, for camera gear and day-ride loads.
Local Buying Guide
For longer Indian rides the Ace works as the bag you actually access - papers for check posts, phone, water, a layer for changing altitude - while a tail bag carries what stays packed. Add a drybag for monsoon protection, and see all tank bags to compare sizes.
