LS2 MX701 Explorer Carbon Frontier Helmet

The MX701 Explorer is the genuinely convertible adventure helmet: peak on and visor off for dirt with goggles, or peak off with the blanking plates fitted and it becomes a quiet full-face for the highway. That is what the hex key and blanking plates in the box are for.

In carbon it is light enough to wear for a full touring day, which is the whole argument for an ADV helmet over owning two. LS2 give it their 5-year warranty.

It ships with a Pinlock 70 anti-fog insert fitted to the visor - relevant if you ride at altitude or in the monsoon, where an ADV helmet earns its keep.
