How to use the Tropicool Tyre Inflator?

1. Connect the Tropicool Tyre Inflator to a 12V power socket in the car. It is recommended to keep the engine of your vehicle on so that your car’s battery doesn’t get drained out by the compressor.

2. Before using the Tropicool Tyre Inflator, examine the tyre to see if it is a large or fixable puncture. If it is a large puncture, do not inflate it as it won’t be able to hold in the air. It is best to interchange it with a spare wheel or call for help.

3. Use the Tropicool Tyre Inflator if you notice a slow leak or when the tyres are a little low on air. To use the inflator, attach the nozzle of the compressor to the tyre’s valve-stem. Ensure it is fitted properly before turning on the compressor pump.

4. Turn on the Tropicool Tyre Inflator to let compressed air enter the tyre. A hissing sound during the operation implies an improper connection which will lead to an air leakage in the system. Switch off the inflator and re-tighten the nozzle and valve-stem connection properly as soon as you hear any hissing sound.

5. Occasionally, use the pressure gauge to check the air pressure to prevent over-inflation.

Note the recommended air pressure for your vehicle from your vehicle’s owner manual or the placard on the driver-door-jamb.
